We are delighted that our members have been shortlisted for the 2024 Family Law Awards. 

Alison Moore and Tom Wilson have both been shortlisted for Family Law Junior Barrister of the Year.

Lucy Bennett and Emma Colebatch have been shortlisted for Family Law Young Barrister of the Year. 

Finally, 1GC Family Law has been recognised alongside other chambers and firms involved in the case Z (Surrogacy: Step-parent Adoption), Re [2024] EWFC 20 which has been shortlisted for Case of the Year. This case involved five barristers from 1GC: Janet Bazley KC, Olivia Magennis and Melissa Elsworth instructed by Goodman Ray for the 1st Respondent and Alison Moore and Luke Eaton instructed by David Wilson Solicitors for the 3rd Respondent.

We are grateful to have been recognised in this way and would like to thank all our supporters who have made this possible and we pass on our congratulations to all of those who have been shortlisted. The awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday 20th November at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge.
