We are delighted to welcome back Elisabeth Andrews, who has recently returned from a few months in Toronto. Whilst Covid-19 prevented her from gaining the exposure to the Canadian family justice system that she had hoped for, she was able to witness a particularly interesting case before the Ontario Court of Appeal in February.
She has written an article on the appeal, which focused on the use of partial summary judgments in family law cases and whether there is a place for the tort of conspiracy within financial remedy proceedings as a solution to the non-disclosure of assets.
