Chambers is delighted to announce that Timothy Bowe KC, who practises mainly from St Ives Chambers, Birmingham, has joined 1GC Family Law as a door tenant.

Timothy, who took silk in 2023, regularly represents local authorities, parents and children in sensitive and complex public and private law cases, often appearing in the High Court and Appellate Courts where he has developed a strong reputation for forensic legal analysis and skilful advocacy. He has significant experience representing vulnerable parties and is accredited to question vulnerable adults and child witnesses in the Family Court. He regularly acts for local authorities, parents and children as well as separately represented young people and has extensive experience representing clients in the senior courts including the Court of Appeal. Timothy sits as Family Law Recorder.
