Publication of the landmark final report of the Infected Blood Inquiry

On Monday 20th May Sir Brian Langstaff published the landmark final report of the Infected Blood Inquiry.

The Inquiry, which has lasted six years, has examined what has been described as “the worst treatment disaster in the history of the NHS”, in which thousands of patients were infected with viruses including Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV through the transfusion of infected blood and blood products.

Chambers is proud to congratulate Marlene Cayoun for her contribution to its work in her capacity as Counsel to the Inquiry.

Marlene continues to act as counsel in ongoing Public Inquiries and is presently instructed to represent a Core Participant in the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry.
