Louise MacLynn appointed as King’s Counsel

We are delighted to announce that Louise MacLynn has been appointed King's Counsel in the new Silks appointments announced today. 

The appointment was made by His Majesty The King on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, Dominic Raab MP, following consideration by the independent King’s Counsel Selection Panel. She will be sworn in during a ceremony in 2023. This is the first announcement of new King’s Counsel in over 70 years.

Nkumbe Ekaney KC and Andrew Norton KC, Joint Heads of Chambers offer their warm congratulations to Louise on her well-deserved appointment to KC. This is such welcome news for us all.

Louise is a specialist in the law relating to children and vulnerable adults. She has experience in all levels of court including the Supreme Court. She is appointed to the Attorney General’s Special Advocates panel and sits as a Recorder in the Crown Court. Louise uses her broad experience to work collaboratively with those instructing her to achieve the best outcome for her clients.
