Laura Briggs Joins Chambers

Chambers is delighted to announce that Laura Briggs has accepted an offer of tenancy. Laura was called in 2001 and is experienced in all aspects of children law, with a particular focus on private law cases and complex care proceedings including those with international and human rights elements.

Laura started in practice at 18 St John Street Chambers in Manchester, where she remains a door tenant, before moving to the Cayman Islands.

On her return to the UK in 2011, Laura joined the Family team in a leading set of Chambers. She was appointed a Recorder in 2015, assigned to the South Eastern Circuit.

Laura is ranked as a leading junior in Children Law in the 2017 edition of Chambers and Partners and her arrival further strengthens Chambers’ Private and Public Law teams and our Court of Protection team.
