We are honoured that Chambers is nominated for "Pro Bono Chambers of the Year" at this year's Advocate Bar Pro Bono Awards and congratulations to Karen Kabweru-Namulemu who has been nominated for "Junior Pro Bono Barrister of the Year".

These awards recognise those individuals and chambers who have gone above and beyond expectation when undertaking pro bono work to support access to justice.

It is a particular pleasure to see Chambers nominated in the Chambers of the year category in 2024, our 35th anniversary year, as pro bono has long been built into the ethos at 1GC Family Law, formerly 1 Garden Court, and we are committed to this being built into Chamber's future.
