Practice Overview
Sapna joined chambers in September 2024 following successful completion of her pupillage and is developing a practice across the full spectrum of Chambers’ expertise.
Prior to joining 1GC, Sapna worked as a paralegal at a London-based solicitors’ firm, which is consistently ranked as Tier 2 in Family in the Legal 500. She has developed experience working on cases including high net worth divorce proceedings, contentious children matters and surrogacy, and is keen to build a comprehensive family law practice.
Sapna has a range of pro bono experience, making her sensitive to the needs of litigants in person and vulnerable clients. Alongside her studies, Sapna volunteered as the Student Director for the BPP Family Legal Advice Clinic. She also served as a casework volunteer at Advocate, a helpline volunteer at IPSEA and a Student Director at the BPP Streetlaw Programme, providing workshops to domestic abuse charities and schools. Sapna has extensive research experience, having drafted chapters for a leading practitioners’ text on financial crime.
