Practice Overview

Kiran joined Chambers in 2025, she specialises in all areas of children law, with a particular focus on both public and private children law. Kiran has appeared at all levels up to and including the High Court.

  • Children (Public Law)

    Kiran is regularly instructed in public law proceedings acting for local authorities, parents and children’s guardians in cases involving chronic neglect, fabricated or induced illness, substance misuse and domestic and physical abuse.

     

    Kiran also has experience of acting for prospective special guardians.

  • Children (Private Law)

    Kiran has represented clients in cases which involve allegations of domestic abuse, sexual and physical abuse and parental alienation. She also has experience of applications for permission to remove a child from the jurisdiction. 

     

    Kiran has experience of acting on behalf of both parents and r.16.4 guardians.

  • Domestic Violence & Injunctions

    Kiran has experience of representing applicants and respondents in injunction proceedings under the Family Law Act 1996.
