Edward discussed the differing roles of the psychiatric assessment and the court, in coming to a view and decision as to litigation capacity.  This is of particular importance during the current pandemic and the accompanying requirement that these assessments be undertaken remotely. Edward considered how to look behind and beyond what the expert says in such assessments.
