Tom Wilson acted for the father in the recently published case of O v P and Anor before Mrs Justice Judd, instructed by Scott Halliday of Irwin Mitchell.

The case concerned a mother’s application for an adjournment of proceedings and a declaration that the medical treatment of transgender young people with puberty blockers or hormones by a private clinic must be subject to the oversight of the Court. Mrs Justice Judd refused to make the declaration and refused to adjourn the proceedings for further consideration after the clinic’s assessment of the young person.
