Jennifer Kavanagh, instructed by Kate Denham Solicitor and led by Tim Bishop KC, appeared on behalf of the applicant wife in the High Court case of AT v BT [2023] EWHC 3531.

This was an interesting case, in which the compensation principle was engaged in a fashion not previously seen in case law. The result was to bring all non-matrimonial assets (covered by a pre-nuptial agreement) into the sharing exercise. The wife was awarded £6.9m, out of net assets of £13.7m.
