Jennifer Kavanagh, instructed by Nathalie Wespieser of Wilson Family Law, acted for the respondent in the recently published case of AM v NW [2025] EWFC 233 (B). This is an interesting case as it deals with a technical point, R27.5 of FPR related to setting aside a Judgment/order in circumstances where a person did not attend the hearing.

There are no other family reported decisions on the technicality of that process so the Court had to consider analogous civil cases.
