Lucy Maxwell, instructed by Levison Meltzer Pigott, appeared in the High Court on behalf of the successful appellant in AA v BB [2021] EWHC 1822 (Fam). This was an appeal against case management decisions to exclude evidence of domestic abuse from consideration at a fact finding hearing. This is among the first reported cases to consider the Court of Appeal’s judgment in Re H-N (in which Lucy Maxwell appeared with Tom Wilson, led by Sarah Morgan QC).
