A v B & Ors [2025] EWHC 3370

Henry Lamb, instructed by Tony McGovern of Creighton & Partners, successfully represented the children through their guardian in the High Court case A v B & Ors [2025] EWHC 3370. The case involved two children who were considered by the judge to be habitually resident in Egypt but who at the time of the hearing living in Egypt and the UK respectively. The case was complicated by several key factors including the fact that:

- the father was subject of an investigation by the FCA,

- the father had left the jurisdiction in breach of the bail conditions imposed on him as a consequence of the FCA investigation,

- and that there were proceedings in Egypt brought by the children’s paternal grandmother.

The Honourable Mr Justice Trowell agreed with the case on behalf of the children and ordered the elder child's return from Egypt to be placed with her sibling who was living in the UK with his mother.
