Landmark surrogacy case where Ms Justice Russell granted the surrogate mother the the care of the young child (Z) with the biological father and his same sex partner being granted contact every 8 weeks for the next 2 years. 

The parties met through a Facebook surrogacy site and the Judge described the case as one where the "unregulated form of surrogacy means that there are on the one side vulnerable surrogates, and on the other commissioning parents who are legally unprotected from unpredictable outcomes.".
