1GC Family Law Chambers is delighted to announce that Nkumbe Ekaney QC and Andrew Norton QC have been elected Joint Heads of Chambers, with effect from 1 October 2020.

1GC wishes to thank warmly Janet Bazley QC and Charles Geekie QC at the end of their tenure as Joint Heads, for their outstanding leadership of Chambers. Their vision and dedication over most of the last decade has contributed to 1GC becoming one of the preeminent Family Law Chambers in the country.

Both Janet and Charles will continue to practise at 1GC Family Law.
