Practice Overview
Orry joined Chambers as a pupil in September 2026 and is under the supervision of Sophie Prolingheuer.
Before commencing pupillage, Orry spent three years as a clerk to a judge in the Family Division of the High Court. In this role, he worked closely with his judge to provide administrative, organisational, and other ad hoc support in the Royal Courts of Justice and on the South Eastern Circuit. This gives him unique and intimate knowledge, insight, and experience across the breadth of family law at the highest level.
Alongside his legal studies, Orry undertook employment litigation with the Free Representation Unit, wrote for the UK Human Rights Blog, and edited the City Law Journal. He is also passionate about social mobility, having served as President of The 93% Club Oxford in 2021 – a charitable foundation committed to improving access for state-educated students.
