Practice Overview
Louise is building a broad practice across a range of chambers’ specialism, with a particular focus on financial provision on relationship breakdown and a range of private law children disputes.
Louise has appeared at all levels up to and including the High Court and accepts instructions in all areas of family law. Louise is a busy junior, who is known for her compassionate manner, frank advise and robust advocacy.

Children (Private Law)
Louise is regularly instructed across the range of private children law. Her experience includes cases of intractable child arrangement cases, leave to remove applications, cases involving the most serious allegations of domestic abuse as well as other sensitive cases which require the consideration of reporting restrictions. Louise also has experience of being instructed to act on behalf the Children in cases.

Family Finance & Property
Louise has a particular interest in financial remedy disputes and regularly represents clients across at all stages of financial remedy proceedings including applications for variation, enforcement and interim relief.
Her experience includes advising on cases involving financial provision for children under Schedule 1 and parties under Part III as well as in cases involving allegations of non-disclosure, analysis of company accounts, and jurisdictional disputes.
Louise is regularly instructed in pFDR and arbitrations, and welcomes instructions at all stages for proceedings, both in court and through NCDR.

Louise regularly represents and advises in applications under the Family Law Act on behalf of both applicants and respondents.

Louise regularly acts in cases involving cross-jurisdictional legal issues. She has experience in relocation cases.

NCDR
Louise’s is regularly instructed in both pFDR and arbitrations (being able to act in both Finance and Children disputes, whether heard separately or together). Louise has a keen interest in the promotion of NCDR to effectivity resolve disputes for her clients.
