Practice Overview
Prior to joining 1GC for her pupillage, Emily worked as a mentor to children and young adults. She gained valuable experience in managing difficult family matters whilst ensuring the well-being of her clients. Throughout her legal studies, Emily volunteered with the Citizens Advice Witness Service. She worked across the Crown Court and magistrates’ courts to offer practical information and emotional support to vulnerable witnesses.
During her BPC, Emily competed in Middle Temple’s Rosamund Smith Mooting Competition. Covering a range of complex legal problems, she successfully progressed through 5 rounds to secure a place in the final.
