Practice Overview
Ann Marie is a founder member of Chambers, who spent all her professional life at the Bar at One Garden Court before, more recently, pursuing academic interests and teaching.
Following pupillage at One Garden Court, she began her legal career with a mixed common law practice and later specialised in Family Law, focusing on ancillary relief and private law children work. She, together with three other members, helped Alison Ball to set up Chambers in its present form as a specialist Family Law set. She was also, at various times, a Pupilmaster, Head of the Pupillage Committee and Head of Mediation, responsible in these areas for structure and process.
In October 2017, Ann Marie took up the role of Senior Teaching Fellow in Clinical Ethics & Law in the Division of Medical Education at King’s College, London, and her main task is to help lead the development and delivery of Clinical Ethics & Law in the medical curriculum.
