Andrew Norton Appointed as Queen’s Counsel

It is with great pleasure that we announce the forthcoming appointment of Andrew Norton as Queen’s Counsel.

This is not only richly deserved but also a particularly noteworthy achievement, coming as it does in the same year as Andrew’s appointment as a Recorder. We look forward to celebrating with Andrew on 22nd February 2016, when he will take his oath at the ceremony in the House of Lords.’

Andrew practises in family law as it relates to children in both the public law (care and adoption) sphere and in private law (child arrangement) disputes.  Andrew also has a significant practice in the Court of Protection dealing primarily with capacity, deprivation of liberty and general welfare cases.
